One mind holds the whole.
The body deserves the same single, named principal you keep for everything else that matters. That principal is the Architect.
You retain an architect, not a roster.
For everything else that matters, you keep a single named principal: the advisor who knows the whole and answers for it. The body has rarely been afforded the same.
The Architect is that principal for your physical system. One mind authors the plan, commissions the specialists, reads the proof, and carries the standard, so that nothing is left to manage itself.
It is a relationship measured in decades, not appointments. Ten members is the most an Architect will ever hold, because the standard does not survive the eleventh.

DECEM begins in London, with Mark.
The practice opens with a single Architect and a single cohort of ten. That is deliberate. A standard like this is proven in person, with a few, before it is ever repeated.
Mark holds the first ten members himself, authoring each plan and coordinating the specialists beneath it. As the practice grows, every future Architect will be admitted the same way the members are: slowly, and to one standard.
